Winchester Gardens Master Plan

In 2014 KDA was commissioned by Springpoint Senior Living, a major not-for-profit senior living provider in New Jersey, to create a master plan for the repositioning of the campus for the next generation of seniors. In addition to renovations and additions to improve the community amenities, the health center was completely renovated and expanded to the neighborhood model of care. Additionally, smaller apartment units were combined to create larger units.
The master plan addresses the inadequacies of the layout and program spaces of the Commons through a design that consolidates the social spaces into a central hub of activity. The design includes a great room and library addition, renovation of the formal dining room to provide multiple dining venues and bistro, expansion of the fitness center, and the expansion of the beauty/barber shop into a full service spa.
