Evans Francis Estates

Evans Francis Estates is the second of only two affordable housing developments in New Jersey to reach families with incomes as low as 20 to 60 percent of the median income. The campus is located on the East side of Cherry Hill, NJ, directly adjacent to two market rate single-family home developments. The design intent for the project was to create clusters of buildings that appeared to be large single-family homes. The massing and materials were selected so the new buildings would tie back to the style and character of the surrounding neighborhoods. The goal was not to differentiate the architecture and quality of the construction from the affluent neighbors and provide quality living and dignity to the residents of Evans Francis.
